Welcome back, and hello to those that are coming to our blog for the first time.
LETS GET THIS PARTY STARTED!
Let me start off with saying that I'm sorry to those people who actually take time out of their busy day to read this blog. I've neglected you by not putting something out or explaining why i have not.
I'm not the best at this blogging and sharing my thought with others and I have been kind of blocked with what to write about. If you like what I write about now would be a good time to start leaving me some comments telling me what you like about what I'm writing or what you would rather see me write about.
Now lets get this party Started!!!!
Heather and I took A trip to the Sky Way because we have never shot there before. We had a rocky start to our day, because I forget myself sometimes and become the, how should I say "THE PROLIFIC ASS", but picture taking always seem to make things better for the both of us. You kind of get lost in the moment and forget about everything that happened before. MInd you a women never forgets and it will come back to visit you someday lol.
We had started scouting around the rest area of the South side. when I had found this nice spot too get some of the old bridge debris and the bridge. I get heather to pull over and I switch out to the long lens and click the power button and.... Nothing. I'm like, "what the hell." I check the battery compartment on the camera to discover that I'm a total fool who forgot to grab the battery off the charger. So we have to drive all the way back to Sarasota. The whole time i keep calling myself a moron cause I always do a gear check before we go.
So we got back after going and getting the battery and surprise, surprise nothing changed for the composition of my shot, Minus the clouds but as you can see I think i still got a good shot. We Were going to head to the fishing pier but it kind of gives heather the creeps since it the actually the old bridge.
After leaving the Skyway there was still time to catch the sunset, so I Googled the closest beach and it happened to be ST. Pete beach. After what seemed like forever to pay for the parking at the beach we were on our way to catch the sunset. There are these awesome boardwalks to catch some pics from, but I'm starting to get a fascination for dune shots, as you can see. After we crossed the dune we were like, WOW. I'm use to Siesta key, where yes there are a lot of people, but they are not on top of everyone. There was so many people it made it hard to get some visually compelling shots but I think Heather and I pulled it off.
All in all, I think Heather and I will be returning soon because there was so much that we seen on our way out that struck us, I really want to shot that. There is some cool stuff that we want to get off some of the bridges with the cityscape in the backround. Also there is the Don Cesar Hotel that could add a nice backdrop, plus we think we saw a nice rooftop bar that would awesome to shoot the sunset from.
Well I hope you enjoyed our trip to the Sunshine Skyway Bridge and St. Pete Beach. It is defiantly going to be a place to go back to. So I hope you come back and see what adventure Heather and I have next.
Please don't forget to leave a comment about if you like the content or what you may want to see us shoot next.
