Welcome back, and hello to those that are coming to our blog for the first time.
LETS GET THIS PARTY STARTED!
Heather and I were looking to find a spot the other day where we could take some sunset shots, because we all know how bad the red tide is right now. Its making it impossible to get anything along the Coast line all the way from Venice to Anna Maria Island, and its starting to creep its way to Pinellas County.
She had a good idea to go and check out the Bradenton Riverwalk. We had not been there since we had some of our wedding photos taken there. There is so much going on in the 1.5 mile span, from people watching sunsets to kids playing on a huge playground.
I like bridges and docks because they just seem to add the right context to a sunset shot and the Bradenton Riverwalk has both. Happy Happy Happy ( and no its not a Duck Dynasty reference... well maybe).
There was so many places to get cool shots, that it felt like a buffet for the eyes. We did not even touch a third of what you could shoot here. If you are in to portraits there are places where people are playing music. There are so many things to bounce light off of if you are bringing your own model, or using the people around you There is a skate park down at the end if you want to bone up on your motion photography. There are so many things that are playful for wedding photographers, like the train tracks, the railings, bridges and docks. There is something here for any style photographer and I do promise that you will not be disappointed.
If you are into skateboarding, music, a good sunset, a place to take some amazing photos, or just some good quality time spent with your family. I recommend coming here at least once, but I know you will make it a place you come back to all the time cause I know I will.
