Welcome back, and hello to those that are coming to our blog for the first time.
LETS GET THIS PARTY STARTED!
Well, as you can see, this is the first post with multiple pictures because why would you limit yourself to trying to capture the whole essence of the fair in a single shot.
Heather and I decided to see what fun we could have at the fair this year, granted we used that as a guise to get some fried Oreos... lol. Well, Heather thought she was getting them till she decided to take a picture of the Zipper sign and I kind of ate her last two. Talk about the look of death.
We had some fun wandering around and taking shots of the lights and signs. Heather was so amused with the zipper sign, and was so happy with the angle, and the lighting sequence she finally got.
When I started taking pictures in the beginning I wasn't sure what I want to take photos of, (as you can now see its been narrowed down to sunsets and landscapes) hence the picture of the cow skull. I think it came out really good. At this time I was just trying to take pictures of anything and everything I thought looked cool.
It was a lot of fun just getting on rides like the Ferris wheel and seeing what you could get from up top and down below as you go round and round. My favorite picture of the night though was the one of the stuffed animals. Everything is so bright and joyful against the black night sky. It just has this magical feeling that brings you back to being a kid again.
When the fair rolls around again next year I hope you go and you get the same feelings I got of my youth and don't tell anyone you just went for the fried Oreos... lol.
